WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to Graham Barrett on getting to the final sadly he lost 2-1 to Roger Goodall in a very good final. with the game poised at one leg each Graham set 4 dolls but Roger got 5 with a stick to spare, to become this years Champion.

In its five year history a player from our league has been in four out of the five finals and won it three times.

 

LADIES SINGLES

DIV 1

The Farriers lose 2-1 at home to Kingham R.B.L, but still get a bonus point.  K.Harding top scored for Kingham with 10 dolls. Colin Winfield, Eddie Stansfield and John Trice-Rolph all got 8 dolls each for the Farriers.

 

Hooky 'A' won 3-0 at home to the Red Lion Ilmington. Chris Kemp got  13 dolls and Steve Arthurs got 12 dolls for Hooky. Ian Cook and Rob Wilkins joint top scored for the Red Lion with 7 dolls  each

 

Fox 'B' Broadwell won 3-0 at home to C.N.C.C. Trev Dyer got 11 dolls for the Fox 'B' and Rob Bradford also got 11 dolls for the Cricket Club.

 

Hooky 'B' won 2-1 away at the Gate Brailes Pete Moulder got 10 dolls for Hooky, Bob Francis top scored for the Gate with 8 dolls

 

DIV 2

League leaders George Brailes won 3-0 away at the White Hart and get a bonus point. Rob Walker, Ryan and dad Nigel Tustain got 8 dolls each for the George. Stuart McLean and Alan Rogers joint scored for the White Hart with 7dolls each. Stow lose 2-1 at home to the Fox 'A' Broadwell. G.McPhilimy and R.Burch top scored for the Fox with 9 dolls each. Charlie Smith got 11 dolls for Stow. Red Lion 'B' Chippy win 2-1 away to the Golden Ball. Rob Joynes top scored for the Golden Ball with 9 dolls. Oli Nicol and Paul Swingle both got 6 dolls each for the Red Lion
